Way Basics Eco-Friendly Madison Bookcase

I love to use eco-friendly products whenever possible. I like that they are not only better for my family, but also better for the environment. Recently I was searching for eco-friendly products for my home, and discovered BuyGreen.com, an online store that carries a wide variety of green products for your home. VOC’s are chemicals that become a gas at room temperature. There is no formaldehyde in our products. We also use a water-based glue that is completely environmentally friendly, and recyclable too.

My Experience:

I was expecting the bookcase to be a little bit of a project for my husband to complete. I figured it would probably take him at least 30 minutes to get it all put together. When he pulled everything out of the box, we were surprised to see that there really are no screws and no hardware! He literally just had to peel the 3M strips off each board and stick the boards together. It only took him about 10 minutes from start to finish!

It’s easy to assume that a product that isn’t made out of solid wood and doesn’t require screws is cheap and won’t hold up very well. We have been pleasantly surprised to see that the bookcase is anything but cheap! It looks so nice all put together, and we love how light, yet stable it is. And the fact that it’s eco-friendly is a huge plus!

The playroom in our basement has been a little unorganized ever since we moved into our new home, so the Madison Bookcase has been the perfect addition! Measuring 11.34 x 32.1 x 45.3, it is great for the girls’ books, toys, and even baby dolls.

I love the design and style of the bookcase. It has a contemporary look to it, so it works well with the rest of our furniture and decor. I’m thinking that it would be great to have one in each of the kids’ bedrooms, so I may have to get a couple more in the near future!
