Quest Nutrition Low-Carb Protein Bars {Review & Giveaway}

I was sent a variety of products from Quest Nutrition to facilitate my review. All photos and opinions are my own.

Quest Bars

Most protein bars on the market today are really just glorified candy bars. They may be high in protein, but they are also packed full of carbs and sugar. For someone like me who is trying to lose weight and gain muscle, this is not an ideal option. That’s why I was so excited to learn about Quest Nutrition products a few months ago from some of my fitness friends.

Quest Bar Protein Bar

Quest Nutrition is most commonly know for their Quest Bars. They are protein bars that are high in protein and fiber and low in carbs/sugar. They are also gluten-free. They are the only true low-carb protein bars on the market. For example, the Chocolate Brownie Quest Bar contains 20g of protein and 24g of carbs, but 19g of the carbs are from dietary fiber so there are technically only 5g of active carbs. Almost all of a Quest Bar’s carbs come from inert fiber which helps keep you full but doesn’t skyrocket your insulin levels.

I have tried just about every flavor of Quest Bars and I have to say that they are all very good! My favorites are Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Lemon Cream Pie. My husband loves the Peanut Butter Supreme. I like to have mine after a workout or for an afternoon snack. They always fill me up and give me good energy. You will not find another bar on the market that tastes as good and has the same high-quality ingredients!

Quest Cravings Peanut Butter Cups

Quest Nutrition recently added an all-new product, Quest Cravings Protein Peanut Butter Cups. They have 20g of protein, only 4g of active carbs, and no added sugar! They are perfect for those times when you are craving a sweet treat, but don’t want to sacrifice all your hard work for something that has no nutritional value. I love them! They are very similar to regular peanut cups in that they look the same and taste the same. The only difference is they actually fill you up and don’t leave you feeling hungry!

Quest Pasta

Besides yummy “treats,” Quest Nutrition also carries Quest Pasta. Most pasta is full of carbs, gluten, and other junk, but Quest Pasta has no active carbs, no gluten and no junk! If you like pasta as much as me, these are the perfect alternative. You can now eat spaghetti and fettuccine guilt-free!

Buy It

You can purchase Quest products from the Quest Nutrition website or from places like Amazon.com and GNC. Quest Bars have an approximate retail value of $2.39 apiece, but I regularly find them on sale for around $2 apiece.
