Pfister Jaida Single Control Trough Faucet Review

My husband and I were renters for the majority of our marriage but this past summer we bought an older home. We absolutely love it. In fact, I was a little unsure about it because it was built in the 70’s, but I could not be happier about the house! Part of our attraction to it was a stunning kitchen and the parts that matter (furnace, roof, windows, etc.) have all been recently replaced! But, the “remodeled” bathrooms were done using the least expensive materials that the local home store had to offer. Sure, they look clean and updated, but ultimately we plan to be here for quite a long while, and I married a contractor, so we are going to make this house ours.

Fast forward to the time to pick the individual components for our bathroom remodel. I was offered the opportunity to review the Jaida Single Control Trough Faucet. I have never seen anything like it! It’s unique, it’s beautiful, understated, everything you could want if you are going to customize your bathroom!

Faucet 4

I debated long and hard about the color of counter tops that would compliment this faucet the best and I considered white granite or marble, but I felt that the lighter colors detracted from this beautiful faucet. My kitchen has black granite and I think the contrast is compelling and beautiful, so black it is. Sorry, to repeat myself, but I just love how the chrome and the white meld together. The lines are perfect and clean.

Faucet 2

So, down to the brass tacks. The faucet came with everything you need to set it up and the install was very straight forward. I really appreciated the way they labeled the different lines (hot and cold). I don’t know if every faucet has this, but it made things all the more simple for this being our (my) first adventure into remodel. The movement on the control is seamless and has the feel of a high quality instrument. Because of the unique style of this faucet, they have also included a choice of plates so that you can decide which you want, or even none at all. According to the Pfister website they have gone to extensive measures to ensure a quality product and customer satisfaction:

  • Pforever Seal – advanced ceramic disc valve technology with a never leak guarantee
  • Pfister Pforever Warranty® covers finish and function for life
  • 1.5 gpm @ 60 psi
  • WaterSense certified- 30% less water consumption without compromising your water experience
  • Meets NSF low lead standards
  • 1 or 3-hole mount with optional deck plate

Where to Buy

At the current time, you can order the Jaida Faucet from retailers such as Lowes and Home Depot, or depending on your location, you may be able to pick it up in-store if you simply cannot wait. You can find Pfister products in a store near you using the store locator.
