Little Remedies Cold & Flu Products – Everything They Need, Nothing They Don’t

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Little Remedies. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

The dreaded cold and flu season hit our house a little early this year. My twin girls have been battling coughs, congestion, and what seems like never-ending runny noses for close to a month now. The last few days have been much better, so I think it’s safe to say that the end to these nasty colds is in sight.

Little Remedies Natural Cold & Flu Products for Kjds

I am always hesitant to give my kids medicine when they are sick (I hate all the unnecessary ingredients!), but it makes it easier when there are more naturally based products available, like Little Remedies. The Little Remedies line of products helps relieve fevers and cold and flu symptoms in infants and children (ages 0-11). The best part is the products contain the fewest ingredients possible — “everything they need, nothing they don’t.” They contain no artificial flavors, artificial colors or alcohol.

Little Remedies Natural Honey Cough Syrup

The Little Remedies 100% Natural Honey Cough Syrup and Saline Nose Drops have been a lifesaver during this recent bout of colds. I’ve been giving my girls the cough syrup before naps and bedtime and it works wonders! The best part is it only contains 3 ingredients! Before we started using it, they had trouble sleeping because as soon as they would lay down they would start coughing so hard they would almost puke. The syrup has really helped calm their coughs so that they can get restful sleep.

Little Remedies Saline Nose Drops for Kids

The Saline Nose Spray/Drops have also been a lifesaver. When my girls are awake, their noses run like faucets, but as soon as they lay down they get stuffy and can’t breathe very well. Just a few sprays in each nostril before laying down has helped them breathe much more easily. And because it’s non-medicated, I can give it to my girls as often as needed and not worry about any side effects.

Tips for Surviving Cold & Flu Season

When cold and flu season are in full force, it’s hard to prevent your kids from getting sick. It’s inevitable that your going to take them outside of the home, whether it’s to school, church or the grocery store where they will be exposed to germs. All you can do is make sure that you take precautions to hopefully prevent them from getting sick. I recommend lots of hand washing and disinfecting of the home, as well as good sleep and a quality multi-vitamin.

In the event that your kids do get sick, I recommend using the Little Remedies line of products. Each of the products contains just what is needed for fast, safe and effective relief — nothing more. I think that’s something all parents can appreciate!
