I remember how stressed I was the first time I hosted Thanksgiving dinner. We invited close family and friends over, and while everyone brought a dish to share, I was in charge of the turkey and mashed potatoes.

Making sure my turkey turned out moist and delicious was enough to stress me out for the whole day. And it may not seem like a much, but peeling, dicing, boiling and mashing ten pounds of potatoes is a lot of work! In the end, everything turned out great but I was exhausted.

Easy Turkey Recipe

Preparing a Jennie-O Oven Ready Whole Turkey (available in traditional or cajun style) is as simple as removing the turkey from the outer packaging, cutting six small slits in the top of the cooking bag, placing it in a roasting pan and baking for approximately four hours.

That’s it! No thawing, cleaning, seasoning or basting. It’s so easy to prepare and results in the most flavorful, moist turkey.
