It’s officially back to school season! Being a former elementary school teacher, I get really excited this time of year. I love everything about it — shopping for school supplies, buying new clothes, getting haircuts, meeting new teachers, and the change in seasons. Using the Fellowes Laminator is a breeze! It only takes about five minutes for it to warm up and then it is ready to use. The Fellowes Laminating Pouches make the whole process even easier. All you have to do is place the item you want laminated in the pouch and then you send it through the laminator. I was able to laminate about 10 sheets in five minutes, so the whole process is very fast!

We have been having so much fun with the Saturn2 95 laminator. We have been laminating all sorts of things this week! For example, my twin girls will be starting preschool this year, so I wanted to laminate some worksheets for them to practice before school starts. So far we have laminated practice worksheets for math, handwriting, and letter recognition. Most of them I found on Pinterest (you can view them here), but a few I took out of a couple of preschool workbooks we have. With twins, I need double of everything so being able to laminate and reuse worksheets saves me money!

We also laminated my son’s school schedule. He will be entering middle school this year, so it will be a big adjustment for him. He will have his own locker and will have to move from class to class. I know he will be using his schedule a lot the first couple of weeks of school as he gets accustomed to his schedule, so having it laminated will keep it from getting ruined.

My girls were already super excited to start school, but even more so now that we have been using our laminated worksheets. I bought them Crayola Dry Erase Markers to use on the sheets and they work great!

There are so many more projects I plan to do with our Fellowes laminator. For starters, I plan on making a weekly meal plan that I can hang on the side of our fridge and I also plan on laminating some of the kids’ projects that I want to preserve.
