I’m really not sure how Amazon makes any money with all of the 20% off and $10 off coupons they have out right now. I keep thinking that they are going to put a stop to it, especially when people are getting boxes of diapers for free or less than $1. With the cost of shipping a heavy box, they can’t be making anything. I guess they figure as long as they get you hooked on their FREE 2-day shipping with Amazon Mom, you’ll come back to get other stuff! Definitely worked on me–I order just about everything from them now, because it’s almost always cheaper than anywhere else and the fast shipping is awesome!
Anyway, I just wanted to share the most recent deal I got. I just ordered a box of 100 Pampers Cruisers Size 4 and it only cost me $6.71! That’s a savings of 77%! They were on sale for just a little over $29 and then I used three different coupons, besides the 30% off I receive through Amazon Mom. I buy Pampers, but you could get a similar deal on another brand.
Here’s how I got such an amazing deal:
- I am signed up for Amazon Mom (totally free, no strings attached), which saves me 30% every time I buy diapers or wipes when I use Subscribe & Save, plus I get FREE Prime Shipping. Saved = $8.72
- I used a 20% off diapers coupon that I found in my Parents magazine, started with “YT” (it actually expired on 1/31, but still worked!) Saved = $5.81
- I used another 20% off diapers coupon that was from another magazine–can’t remember which one, started with “YJ” (it expired on 2/28, but still worked!) Saved = $5.81
- I used a $2 off Pampers coupon found on my Amazon coupon page. In order to get yours, make sure you are logged in, and then go to the “Health and Personal Care Section,” or click HERE. If you scroll down you will see your coupons. If you don’t see the Pampers one, refresh your page or click “see additional coupons you qualify for.” I had to refresh once to see it. Then click on it and it will automatically apply the coupon when you check out. (Not sure how long this coupon will be valid). Saved = $2.00
Total Savings = $22.34!!!
Keep in mind that you don’t have to buy Pampers to get this kind of deal. You can use the 20% off and $10 off coupons on ANY brand that is shipped and sold by Amazon. Just make sure you enter your coupon codes during checkout!
{I posted before that you can find these hot coupons in a lot of baby magazines (Parents, Parenting, Baby Talk, American Baby, Fit Pregnancy). They are a bright green color. Check your local library or doctor’s office for subscriptions that you don’t receive!}
To get started:
- Make sure you sign up for Amazon Mom.
- Search for the brand/size of diapers you are looking for. Make sure the item is eligible for Subscribe & Save and then select the frequency that you want to receive the item (this really doesn’t matter because you can cancel after you receive your shipment).
- Click “Subscribe Now” and then on the next page enter your coupon code(s) (there’s a box located on the right side that you enter them into).
- Review your order details and then click “sign me up.” That’s it!
Tips About Amazon Mom/Subscribe & Save:
- You can only use one $10 off coupon per account, and you can only stack coupons that begin with different letters such as “YT” and “YJ”. You can open up another account and ship to the same address in order to use more coupons.
- Items purchased must be shipped and sold by Amazon to receive the discounts.
- You can only buy one item at a time with Subscribe & Save, so you won’t be able to add other items to your shopping cart.
- You can cancel the Subscribe & Save after you receive your shipment. Just go to your account and delete it. I do this every time I order diapers, otherwise I can’t stack my coupons.
- For every $25 purchase you make in the baby store, one month of free Prime Shipping is added to your account. This is based on the retail price before any discounts are applied. Because of this, every time I buy a box of diapers my Prime is extended another month.
