I can’t believe how fast December is flying by!! It is already the week of Christmas, and I still have things to get done. Is anyone ever totally ready by this time, or am I the only one who is still scrambling to get things finished?
I will say that I am more prepared this year than I was last year at this time. Granted, we had brand new little babies in our house who were barely a month old, so I had a lot of other things to take care of besides getting ready for Christmas! This year I am more on top of it and I think that shopping online has helped a lot. For some people it just doesn’t work, but for me shopping from home has been a lifesaver (can you imagine trying to shop with one-year-old twins?!).
Now that the presents have been bought, it should be time to relax and just drink hot cocoa (or coffee) and wait for Christmas to come. That’s easier said than done! I still have to wrap most of the presents, find a good deal on a spiral ham, and figure out what else to make for Christmas Eve dinner. I know it will all come together, and then maybe on Christmas I can actually relax. I doubt it though…I’m sure I will be trying to find some good deals to share with all of you!
With the busyness of this week, I’m thinking that my blog posts will probably be kept light. I will still be working on some behind-the-scenes items for the blog though. I’m currently working on creating a list of multiple birth freebies to share with you. When our twins were born I worked with several great companies to get lots of free things for our girls. I want to compile my list of companies and how to contact them so that you can get in on the deals too (if you are a parent of multiples). I would love your input if you have anything to share!
I’m also working on getting some more reviews and giveaways to bring you. If you could, please add your favorite companies/products to the list started on my Facebook post. This will help me bring you the companies you want (or at least try!).
