As a busy mom of three, I appreciate having easy lunch options on hand. Now that my son is in middle school and my twin girls are in preschool, we are busier than ever. But that doesn’t mean our meals can’t be healthy. Whether I am packing a lunch for my son or making a quick lunch at home for my girls, I want to make sure that I am providing them with healthy options. Chicken of the Sea has a perfect protein solution to make lunchtime not only easy, but also healthy — Chicken of the Sea To Go Cups.
Available in Chunk Light Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Tuna Salad and Pink Salmon, Chicken of the Sea’s To Go Cups are ready to eat, require no draining, have only 70-80 calories each, and are great for a quick and well-balanced lunch or snack at school, especially when paired with crackers or cucumber slices.
Available in easy-to-open, 2.8-ounce cups, Chicken of the Sea’s tuna and salmon are wild-caught and a natural source of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and protein, and are low in fat and calories. The cups come in packages of two.
We have tried all the Chicken of the Sea’s To Go Cup varieties and they are all great. My husband loves the salmon, while I prefer the Albacore Tuna. The kids are a little more picky and don’t like to eat tuna plain, so they like the Tuna Salad best.
The Chicken of the Sea’s To Go Cups are great eaten alone, or on top of salad or crackers. I personally enjoy them after I workout, either plain or on a rice cake with tomatoes, green onions and cheese on top — my healthy version of a Tuna Melt. It’s a delicious option if you are looking for a protein-packed meal that is low in calories and fat. My kids even love them!
