Simplify Your Digital Life with the Dolphin Browser App

As a mom and blogger, I am always trying to find ways to simplify my life. I stay very busy between my kids’ schedules, work, and household duties, so it helps to have devices and tools to make staying organized a little easier. I use my iPhone, as well as a handful of different apps, to help me accomplish tasks throughout the day, such as checking my calendar and email, posting to social media and surfing the web. My smartphone’s browser isn’t the most user-friendly, so I am really happy that I recently discovered the Dolphin Browser, a free mobile app designed to make surfing the web easy and intuitive.

The Dolphin Browser isn’t just your typical browser. It’s fast and smart and you can even train your “Dolphin” to adapt to the way you want to browse. You can open your favorite websites with just a touch of your fingertip and you can also speak to your Dolphin and tell it where to go. It truly is unlike any browser I have ever used before!

There are so many handy features that come with the Dolphin Browser, but one of my favorites is called Gestures. With this feature, you can create signature gestures (drawings) that allow you to simply swipe and it will take you where you want to go. For example, I made a gesture for my blog by drawing “pwm.” So now every time I draw those letters together, the browser recognizes it and takes me right to my blog. Pretty cool, huh?!

I also really like the Tabbed Browsing feature. This allows you to open multiple tabs at once. Unlike using my standard web browser, which “stacks” all my tabs, this shows all of my tabs at once so that I can quickly switch between them without having to scroll through all of them.

The best part about the app is you can customize it based on your needs and preferences. For example, when you’re on the home screen, you can find your Speed Dial shortcuts. If you click on the ‘+’, you can add web apps or a specific URL. This gives you quick and easy access to your favorite sites. You can also add bookmarks, share content, changes themes and more by tapping the Dolphin icon at the bottom of the screen.

Additional features include:

• Sonar: Ask and you shall receive with smart voice search.
• Modes: Go into Night Mode, Private Mode, or Desktop Mode for maximum flexibility while you browse.
• Add-Ons: Tailor your Dolphin experience with third-party add-ons.
• Side Bars: Quickly access bookmarks and options with a swipe.
• Dolphin Connect: Stay connected by syncing your data across compatible devices.
