When I was first married, all those many years ago, we had nothing and no money. One of my favorite gifts from my mother was a clothes basket full of cleaning supplies. She knew we couldn't afford them and that we wouldn't take them as charity, so she gave it to me as a Christmas gift. She was one smart lady!
