My dad recently told me about an awesome promotion that Southwest Airlines is having. If you sign up for their Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Premier Card (and get accepted) you will receive 50,000 bonus points after you make your first purchase. 50,000 points will get you $800 in Wanna Get Away® Fares that can be redeemed for 2 FREE roundtrip flights! My dad already received his tickets and only had to make one small purchase on his card to get them. I just applied and got accepted! If you are interested, you can apply HERE.
If you don’t qualify for the Premier card, they will automatically consider you for the Plus card, which can be redeemed for 1 free roundtrip flight.
I have been trying to think of creative ways to plan an affordable family vacation this summer, so this is perfect! It’s not cheap to fly a family of five anywhere, let alone pay for a hotel room, food, and activities. I know we could drive somewhere, but being in the car for a long time does not sound very appealing with three kids. Getting two free tickets will save us at least $500!
