My twin girls are finally at the age where they can handle play sets with small pieces. For months now they have been begging to play Legos with their older brother, so when I heard about the popular Pinypon play sets, I just knew I had to get some for the girls.
Pinypon was introduced to the U.S. market in 2012 and little girls everywhere are smitten with the pint-size doll line, outfits and accessories. Just like the Nenuco doll review that I posted the other day, Pinypon is made by the famous European toymaker Famosa.
We received the Pinypon Snow Ski Lodge and Adventure Car & Tow sets for review. They actually came at the perfect time and I was able to give them to my twin girls for their 4th birthday. My son took it upon himself to set up both sets during nap time, so when the girls woke up they had a fun surprise waiting for them!
As soon as the girls laid eyes on the Pinypon toys, they were ecstatic. They had never seen anything like it before and were instantly intrigued. They became so engaged with the little figures and all of the things you can do with them that we could hardly get them to stop playing and eat dinner. It’s been over a week and they are still playing with them non-stop!
The Pinypon Snow Ski Lodge includes 3 Pinypon figures, adorable snow gear, lots of activities (ski, skate, snow mobile, sled, snowboard), an ice skating rink that you can actually add water to and freeze, a ski slope and lodge, and over 50 accessories!
There is so much you can do with the Pinypon Ski Lodge. My girls just love swapping out the figures’ winter gear and having them sled down the ski hill. They also think it is so neat that you can turn the figures’ heads around to create different expressions.
The Pinypon Adventure Car & Tow is a great addition to the Pinypon Ski Lodge. It comes with one Pinypon figure and pet, a cool car, a snowboard, skis, luggage and more! The trunk of the car and the tow both open up for accessory storage. You can also store accessories on the tow.
I just love how Pinypon has so many options and encourages imaginative and creative play. It has definitely become one of our favorite toys!

They are very cute, this is new to me this year, there are so many accessories with this, hard to pick which one to play with first. I am sure they will not get bored with it. I want to play with the Ice rink myself, it is just too adorable.
