Fun Treats to Celebrate The Peanuts Movie {Printables Included}

I have fond childhood memories of Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang. I grew up watching the holiday-inspired shows that aired on TV and I loved reading the Peanuts comic strip in the Sunday newspaper. Now that I have kids of my own, I have had a lot of fun introducing them to some of my childhood favorites, like A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. They have quickly become their favorites too so we couldn’t be more excited for The Peanuts Movie to hit the big-screen on November 6, 2015!

While the kids and I wait for The Peanuts Movie to hit the big-screen, we’ve been creating some fun Peanuts themed snacks. We made “Peanuts Popcorn” (caramel popcorn with peanuts) and Charlie Brown pudding cups. Both treats are super easy to make and would be perfect for Halloween treats or classroom snacks!

I used Pop Secret Sweet ‘n Crunchy Caramel Popcorn and honey roasted peanuts to make the Peanuts Popcorn. It’s incredibly easy to make! Just pop the popcorn and add peanuts!

We made some fun treat bags for the Peanuts Popcorn using Ziploc bags and this Charlie Brown zig zag printable. Each printable makes two bag toppers, so print out as many as you need and then cut them in half. Fold the halves over the bags and staple on both sides to secure them. If you’re planning on handing them out as treats or bringing them into the classroom, it’s probably best to leave the peanuts out in case there are kids who have a peanut allergy.

These Charlie Brown themed pudding cups are also super easy to make. I created a smaller zig zag printable that will cut into four strips. Simply cut them out and tape them around Snack Pack pudding cups and you have a super cute snack!

We bought everything we needed to make these fun treats at our local Safeway, the official grocery partner of The Peanuts Movie. The exciting thing is we received these super cute trick-or-treat bags featuring the Peanuts gang for free with our purchase. My twin girls can’t wait to use them on Halloween!
