I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Sears. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.
It’s a new year, which means many of you have made resolutions to live healthier, more active lifestyles. It seems like just yesterday I made it a goal of mine to start eating healthier and working out. It’s now been two years and I am so thankful that I stuck with it. I’m proud to be in the best shape of my life!
Last year my goal was to get leaner and stronger. My goal this year is the same but I would like to take it up a notch. I lift weights 5-6 days per week, with a little bit of cardio mixed in. Even though I am still passionate about getting fit, there are days that I get bored with my workouts and don’t feel motivated. It’s easy to get in the habit of doing the same exercises each week but over time that leads to burnout. I think it’s important to switch it up, not only to keep your body guessing, but also to keep you challenged mentally.
I’ve been looking for new workout programs and discovered FitStudio.com, a free, one-stop fitness destination and rewards platform. After browsing the site, I found tons of workouts and programs that I can’t wait to try. I’m super competitive and love to be rewarded, so the fact that I can earn points for all of my hard work is an added bonus!

To help members #Achieve15 and meet their goals to earn $5, FitStudio.com will issue #Achieve15 tips via social media throughout the month of January. The tips include everything from inspiration to keep members on track, to ideas for reaching goals to earn rewards. You can view the #Achieve15 videos on YouTube here.
I really like that FitStudio lets you decide how you will earn points. A lot of fitness rewards programs go by the number of steps/miles you complete and since I don’t do a lot of cardio, it’s not really the best representation of how active I am. I like that I can choose to earn points by burning a specific number of calories. I have a heart rate monitor that tracks that for me so it will be easy to earn points!
I am most looking forward to trying some of the workouts and programs on the FitStudio website. Like I mentioned before, I tend to get in the habit of doing the same exercises over and over again, so it will be great to mix it up. I think it will help motivate and inspire me to try new things. I am also looking forward to trying the challenges. I love to compete, so this might be just what I need to take my fitness goals to the next level.
If you are looking to get in shape, I would highly recommend taking a look at FitStudio.com. It’s super easy to sign up and the best part is it’s free!
