It is no secret that getting good sleep is important. We all know that we need it, but for some, it’s just not that easy to get. Simply falling asleep and staying asleep can be a challenge — let alone getting enough!

You’ve probably heard that adults need between 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Whether it’s due to stress, crazy work hours, or waking up with a baby, many adults don’t get that much on a consistent basis.
As a mom of three (including twins!) I’m used to not getting the best sleep. However, this past year has been especially hard. I think changes in my routine, as well as an increase in stress, have made it hard for me to maintain a good sleep routine. I have been way more tired than usual.

Exposure to bright LED lights such as smartphones, laptops, and TV screens before bed can also interfere with your body’s natural release of melatonin.
