I think it’s safe to say that everyone has at least one physical feature that they really like about themselves. For me that would be my hair. But I haven’t always liked it. For most of my childhood, my hair was super short. It was hideous! Once I was in middle school, I decided to ditch the short hair and trade it in for long, beautiful hair. It took awhile to grow it out, but my hair has been long ever since!
Over the years, I have learned that long hair is a little harder to take care of than short hair — it can become dry and brittle and break easily. It’s important that you take good care of it in order to maintain the length. I make sure to get mine trimmed regularly and I do little things to keep it healthy, like only blow drying and straightening it 2-3 times per week. I also make sure to use a quality shampoo and conditioner, as well as a good leave-in oil.
