I have always perceived Pack ‘n Plays to be big and bulky and not intended for real travel. Sure, they’re tough and well-built for a road trip or short stay at Grandma’s, but never for bigger trips, especially those involving plane travel. I’ve always wished they would come out with a more heavy duty option, so I was excited to learn about the new Graco Pack ‘n Play Playard Jetsetter. Graco has truly entered the real travel game with this well-designed playard!
The first thing that I noticed upon receiving the Jetsetter was that it has a smaller profile than its older counterparts and the bag now has straps so you can carry it like a backpack. There’s nothing worse than trying to wrangle kids at the airport, while also trying to maneuver bags that are bulky and awkward. Having straps to carry the Pack ‘n Play will make traveling so much easier!
I also really appreciate that all the Jetsetter parts fit neatly in the bag. Some of the former Pack ‘n Play models have all the bells and whistles, but the problem is no matter how great my baby gear prowess, I still cannot get all the parts back in the bag. The Graco Jetsetter’s bassinet and changer are compact and ready for travel.
Another thing I really like is that Graco has added the ability to leave the bassinet installed when folding the Pack ‘n Play, which will save time with each use. And it still has Graco’s signature push-button fold, which is so easy that if you choose to take it to Grandma’s, she can take it up and down with ease.
Perhaps one of the best features of the Jetsetter is that it can be used in a variety of places. The tent portion allows for it to be used inside or outside. You can take it to the beach and it will protect your baby from the sun. The mesh sides allow for optimal airflow as baby naps or plays. For little babies, the bassinet provides a cozy little nest complete with vibration and music to help woo any travel weary baby in to a deep, restful sleep. The nice thing is when your baby gets bigger, you can simply remove the bassinet and move the mattress to the bottom of the bed.
The Graco Pack ‘n Play Playard Jetsetter is a must-have if you plan on doing any traveling with your baby. Whether you take it across the country, or simply on a camping trip or day at the beach, the Jetsetter has everything you need to make your trip more enjoyable for you and your baby.
You can find it at Target stores, Target.com or Amazon.com for approximately $112.

Was the jetsetter small enough to be a carry on or did you have to check it?

Hi Amanda, you should be able to check it at the gate. I would confirm with the airline to make sure though! Thanks :)
