I chose the Fulbright Area Rug in Smoke Blue.
This particular rug is low pile, which in my experience, is easier to maintain if you have children or animals. It has a nice, soft texture and a durable look and feel. The colors are very rich and vibrant. The contrast of the earth tones gives the room a warm feel and is very easy to match to a variety of furniture and colors.
On the left is my fabulous new rug and the right is my old rug.

I learned: WHY BUY A RUG PAD? Not just for slippage, a rug pad can help preserve the life of your rug. Rug pads protect the rug from everyday wear with a soft, supportive foundation that keeps it in place
