Mutsy Grow-Up! Booster Seat {Review & Giveaway}

I have to say that I am a little bit of a high chair snob. I love the looks of the more modern designs that are typically more expensive. My twin girls have been using Svan high chairs since they started eating solids, and we love how stylish and functional they are. When I started looking for booster seats for the girls to use at our dining room table, I of course had to look beyond what you can find at your local big box store.

My search led me to the Grow-Up! booster seat from Mutsy. It comes in six trendy colors and is suitable for children up to four years of age. I instantly fell in love, and decided that I had to have one for my twins! I was drawn to the cool design and bright colors, along with the smartly designed safety harness. When Mutsy offered to send me one for review, I was super excited to try it out!

If you are not familiar with Mutsy, it is a Dutch company that has been around since 1935. It has been a household name as a manufacturer of pushchairs since 1937, and has since come to develop practical and durable strollers. Mutsy has only been available in the United States for a couple of years, but has already proven to be very successful in the baby market. While the company is most well-known for its strollers, it also makes high chairs and booster seats.

When I received my Grow-Up! seat in Apple, I was not disappointed! The color is even brighter and more vibrant than pictured. The seat is soft, yet sturdy, and the safety harness is well-made and easy to use. The seat was fast and easy to set up, and there was no assembly required. I literally just had to fasten and tighten one strap to the base of the chair and one strap to the back of the chair, and it was ready to go!

I like how easy it is to put my two-year-old twins in the seat and buckle the safety harness. I also like how the seat comes with the option to unclip the shoulder straps, allowing an older child to sit comfortably in the seat. We have been using the booster at our counter-height dining table and it works great. I can slide the chair under the table when it’s not in use and it fits just fine. It’s perfect if you don’t have a lot of space in your kitchen!
