Tommee Tippee Makes Mealtime Fun! {Review & Giveaway} #ABE3

I am always on the lookout for new and innovative products for my twin girls. I need products that not only work well, but that are also affordable. Having to buy two of just about everything starts to add up, so I have to make good choices when I decide to purchase something.

One product that can be hard to buy for is sippy cups. You just never know if it’s going to work well. Several times I have found myself lost in the baby aisle wondering – Is it truly spill-proof? Is it easy to clean? Is it developmentally appropriate for my child? Is it worth the price? For something that’s relatively inexpensive, buying a sippy cup can be a hard decision!

I have tried a lot of different brands of sippy cups and I have to say that my new favorite is Tommee Tippee. Tommee Tippee has been a popular baby brand in the UK for many years, and is just now starting to make its presence here in the US. Besides sippy cups, they make bottles, feeding utensils, plates & bowls, bibs, pacifiers, and even baby monitors. All of their feeding products are BPA-free and are developed with kids in mind. They are also very affordable!

Tommee Tippee sent me several mealtime products to try and share on my blog. They sent me a twin pack of the Explora Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cups in pink/purple, a twin pack of Explora Section Plates in pink, and a twin pack of Explora Easi-Roll Bibs in pink/purple.

Here’s what we love about each:

Explora Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cups (2) ($7.99): They really are spill and leak-proof! They have a unique advance-flo valve that works better than any other we have tried. It takes a little more time to put together and take apart compared to other brands we’ve tried, but it seems more effective and easier for the girls to drink from. We also like how the cups have a built in spout cap. The girls love to open and close the cap, and it’s nice that it is attached to the lid so that we don’t have to worry about losing it.

Explora Section Plates (2) ($5.99): The girls love to use these plates! We can divide their food up into three sections, which makes them less picky about what they are eating. Depending on what we are having, it works out great to put the main dish in the middle and the fruits and veggies on the sides. The plates are also angled, making it easier for the girls to eat their food.

 

Explora Easi-Roll Bibs (2) ($6.99): I wasn’t sure if the girls would like wearing these because they are more stiff than the fabric ones they are used to. These have become their new favorite! I like how the neck is adjustable, allowing it to grow with your baby. The bibs can also be rolled up for easy travel. My favorite thing about them is that they are so easy to clean. After each meal, I just rinse them off in the sink and they are good to go! When they get a little more dirty I scrub them with a little soap and water and that works great too.

Buying baby products can be a daunting task, so it’s so nice when you finally find a brand that you trust. I am so glad I was finally introduced to Tommee Tippee! I know that no matter what I buy from them, I’m going to like it and it’s going to work great.
