Nuby Ol’ McDonald Singing Plush Toy Review

One of the perks of being a Nuby Mommy Blogger is I get to test out and review the latest Nuby products. Over the course of the next few months I will be sharing some of these products with you, and hopefully I’ll be able to give some of them away!

For my first review I want to introduce you to the Nuby Ol’ McDonald Singing Plush Toys. These adorable farm animals play the familiar and fun children’s song Ol’ McDonald when you hug or squeeze their tummies. There are four animals in the set — a cow, duck, pig, and sheep. The Ol’McDonald Plush Toys are recommended for children 3 months and up.

My two-year-old twin girls have been playing with the Ol’ McDonald duck and sheep for about two weeks now. From the moment the animals arrived, the girls have been super attached to them. Each girl claimed her favorite and insists on sleeping with it every night! Sometimes after I lay them down for bed, I can hear Ol’ McDonald playing over and over again. It eventually puts them to sleep, so I’m okay with it!

From a parent’s perspective, I love that the animals are not only adorable, but also really soft. They are the perfect size for little hands to hold and cuddle with. My girls can easily squeeze them to activate the song, and the song is the perfect volume and length. This is important to me, considering that so many toys are too loud or seem to never turn off. Overall, I think these toys are worth the investment and I would recommend them to parents of babies or toddlers.
