Real Kids Shades – New Styles for 2014 + Giveaway

Last year we had the opportunity to review several different pairs of kids sunglasses from Real Kids Shades. I was super impressed not only with the quality, but the style that Real Kids Shades offers, so I was thrilled when I was asked to review some of their new styles for 2014.

If you have never heard of Real Kids Shades, they make sunglasses for kids ages 0-12+ that are not only stylish, but also protective. All Real Kids shades have lenses made with shatterproof, impact-resistant polycarbonate that offer 100% UVA/UVA protection. Unlike many other kids sunglasses on the market, Real Kids Shades are made to last and they actually provide protection from the suns harmful rays. Depending on how old your child is, some of the styles even come with bands to keep the shades from falling off your child’s head.

My four-year-old twin girls were sent matching pairs of the Breeze (Kid) — one pair in hot pink and one pair in purple. The Breeze – Kid is designed to fit kids ages 4+. My girls are almost four and a half and they fit them perfectly, with room to grow as they get older. As soon as we took them out of the package, I could tell that they were high quality sunglasses that would last my girls a long time. Plus, they are super cute!

What we love about the Breeze Sunglasses:

• The frames are rubberized, allowing them to be extremely bendable. I don’t have to worry about my girls breaking them!

My twelve-year-old son is at the age now where he wants to look “cool” all the time so he picked out the Swag (Teen). The Swag – Teen is designed for kids ages 10+. My son was thrilled to open his up and try them on. They fit him perfectly! He loves the white frames because he says they match with everything. I think they will hold up well for him. I’ve actually tried them on myself and they fit well!
