Rollie EggMaster Review & Giveaway

My family eats a lot of eggs, especially now that we get our eggs from a local farm. Not only are they easy to make, they are a great source of protein. On any given day we will go through a dozen or more eggs. That may seem like a lot, but usually we remove the yolks and just eat the egg whites. We always make our eggs the same old way every time, so when I was given the opportunity to review a Rollie EggMaster, an appliance that allows you to cook eggs in a whole new way, I couldn’t wait to try it out!

Never heard of the Rollie EggMaster? The Rollie is a handy little appliance that uses vertical cooking technology to cook eggs, as well as other treats. Featuring a non-stick cylinder cooking surface, surrounded by a revolutionary heating element, the Rollie cooks eggs perfectly without any mess. All you have to do is crack an egg, pour it in, and watch it pop up when it’s done!

My family has gotten a real kick out of the Rollie. The concept behind it is fun and unique. The fact that the eggs come out in a roll is different and of course exciting for my toddlers.

Not only have we made eggs in the Rollie, we have made other treats such as a PB&J Rollie and a Pizza Rollie. The PB&J Rollie is a fun twist on regular peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We simply cut a whole wheat tortilla into a 4×6 rectangle, lined it with peanut butter and jelly, rolled it up, and then dropped it into the Rollie. After about 8 minutes, it was complete. The kids loved it!

My only complaint about the Rollie is it isn’t always practical. It takes 10 minutes to warm up and 5-8 minutes to cook the eggs. It can only cook 1-2 eggs at a time, which means it takes forever to make eggs for my family of five. While the Rollie isn’t the best option for our busy mornings, it has been great for making fun snacks and lunches.
