Shaklee Eco-Friendly Products {Review & Giveaway}

I was recently introduced to an all-natural, eco-friendly company called Shaklee. Have you heard of it? I can’t believe that I wasn’t introduced to it sooner, considering it is the number one natural nutrition company in the U.S and has been around for over 55 years. When I was contacted to do a review of some of the Shaklee products I agreed out of curiosity, and have since fallen in love with everything I was given to try.

Before I go into detail about the products, I want to share a little bit about the Shaklee company. Shaklee was started in 1956 with a mission to create healthy products that are not only safe for you and your home, but also for our planet. Shaklee created one of the first biodegradable cleaners in 1960 and went on to become the first company in the world to be Climate Neutral certified.

Shaklee has spent a lot of time and money researching and developing products using the highest-quality natural ingredients available, with a promise to create products that are Always Safe, Always Work, and are Always Green. Lori Ferguson, a distributor for Shaklee, sent me a variety of items ranging from cleaning items to nutritional supplements to try out. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I am loving the Shaklee products she sent me!

Here is a little more about each product I received:

Stomach Soothing Complex – Relief for Upset Stomach: Contains peppermint, ginger, fennel and anise to offer stomach-soothing effects.

This stuff is AMAZING! You can smell the herbs as soon as you open the bottle, and the effect is fast and incredibly soothing. Within a few minutes of taking it, it feels like your stomach is being coated, creating a cooling sensation. It is great for any type of stomach pain, including heartburn and indigestion, as well as for nausea.

Cinch Meal-in-a-Bar – A Complete Breakfast or Lunch: Each bar is packed with 20 grams of protein for staying power and leucine to help you preserve muscle while you lose weight and inches.

These taste really yummy for being packed full of so much good stuff. They are bigger than other meal bars I have tried, and they really do fill you up. I have tried so many others that leave me starving, and these are satisfying even for my high metabolism.

Cinch 3-in1 Boost – Boost Your Metabolism: Contains a proprietary thermogenic blend and 23 essential vitamins and minerals for nutritional insurance. This supplement boosts your metabolism, encourages weight loss, and helps retain normal blood-glucose levels–which in turn may help prevent low energy and food cravings.

I have been taking one of these with each meal and have definitely noticed a difference in my energy levels. I have had a lot more energy (sometimes too much it seems!) and haven’t had such a demanding appetite. Because my metabolism is so high, I generally have to eat frequently to maintain a normal blood-glucose level, but with the Cinch I feel more stable and less hungry.

Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate – The Nontoxic, Natural Way to Clean: Each bottle equals the cleaning uses of 5,824 bottles of 26 oz. of Windex! Because it’s superconcentrated (16 oz. makes 48 gallons of superpowerful cleaner) it will last you forever! You can use it for thousands of household jobs. It removes dirt, grease, and grime from any washable surface inside and out.

I love this cleaner! It is so refreshing to use something that doesn’t smell like chemicals. It really doesn’t even have a smell, which makes sense considering that it’s mostly made up of water. I like that it comes with three spray bottles with directions on how to fill each one depending on what you are cleaning (Windows, All-Purpose Cleaner, and Degreaser). For example, you only need 1/4 of tsp to fill the All-Purpose Cleaner bottle. I was skeptical about the H2 working on tough areas, but it removes grease on my stove without any scrubbing!

Germ Off Disinfecting Wipes: These fragrance free, pre-moistened, ready-to-go cloths clean, disinfect, and deodorize. Kills 99.9% of E. coli and Salmonella Bacteria.

Let me just say that these are WAY better than the regular cleaning wipes you can get at the store. The wipes are incredibly soft and have the perfect amount of moisture in each wipe. I like them for cleaning my toilet seats and counter tops. I appreciate the fact that they also don’t smell like chemicals.

I would love to try more Shaklee products in the future. I can’t reiterate enough how much I really like the products, and how much I appreciate that the products are eco-friendly. It makes me feel better about what I am using in my home and what I am putting in my body.
