Flipeez Interactive Hats Review

We live in Colorado and the joke around these parts is that if you do not like the weather here, give it five minutes. So, a couple of days ago, we received these crazy Flipeez hats in the mail and it was about 90 degrees outside. Well, the powers that be heard my children’s cries, and the weather quickly became cold and misty and we got to play with our new Flipeez hats.

These are so neat! Of course our house was like Christmas the day these hats came and my girls LOVE them! We received Huggy Monkey and Twitchy Kitty. The monkey’s little hands pop up as if to say “surprise” and the kitty’s tail goes straight up when you push the button on the hat’s tassle.

I will say that my girls did have a little difficulty at first with mastering the hand strength and technique necessary to make the little hands and tail pop up, but once they had it figured out, the hats were a ball.

I know that the website advertises that these hats are “fun for ages 4 to 104,” so my middle daughter at two, is a little younger than their intended audience, but she still thoroughly enjoys her hat.

Beyond all the fun and entertainment these hats offer, they are actually quite warm, made out of an acrylic knit fleece and lined to boot. I love these hats, and now that they are for sale at stores around town like Walmart and Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I will definitely be picking a few of these up for my friend’s kiddos.
