There are plenty of apps out there that will help you save money. From keeping track of your finances, to finding you the best deals and coupons, to tracking the best prices at the fuel pump, there many great apps that will help you cut costs and get ahead financially. The hard part is deciding which ones to download! No one wants to spend money on an app that’s not going to get used, and let’s face it, we all have way too many apps taking up space on our phones and tablets. 5 Free Apps that Will Save You Money
Shopular – This mobile coupon app gives you access to the latest sales, deals and coupons to all of your favorite stores while on the go. You can redeem the coupons directly from your phone and the best part is the app allows you to select your favorites stores in advance so you’re not bombarded by deals for stores you aren’t interested in. Groupon – Purchase Groupon Deals on everything from restaurants to retailers to hotels for 50%-90% off. You can search by location to find deals closest to you. Available for iOS, Android, and Windows.
SavingStar – This digital coupon app links thousands of grocery stores and drugstores to your individual store loyalty cards. You choose the digital coupons you want to use and the reward is applied to your loyalty card and when you reach $5 in savings, you earn cash! Available for iOS and Android.
GasBuddy – No matter where you are, this app will use your current location to find the cheapest gas near you. In addition, for every gas price reported, you’ll earn points towards a prize giveaway. App is available for iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows.

Mint – This app pulls all your financial accounts into one place. Set a budget, track your goals and more! For those worried about security, the app is password protected and there is a way to deactivate access from your phone through the Mint website. It is a fantastic way to keep tabs on your overall financial health and be able to spot potential problems. Available for iOS and Android.
