I love having a spotless home, but with three kids it can be a bit of a challenge. I feel like I am constantly cleaning. When I clean up one area, my twin girls are usually messing up another. I have had to learn that my home is never going to be perfect with little ones around (well, at least not for long). I have also had to learn to be effective with my cleaning time. I refuse to clean all day every day, so I pick a certain time each day to get what I can done. If it doesn’t get done, I leave it for the next day.
One area I like to make sure stays clean is my carpet. I am a bit obsessed about it. We don’t wear shoes in our house and we don’t have any pets, so it usually stays really clean. I just don’t like when it gets matted down. It always looks so much nicer after it’s been vacuumed. The only downside is my home is nearly 3,000 sq. ft. and 75% of it is carpet, so it takes FOREVER to vacuum. That and the vacuum I’ve had for the past five years doesn’t have any attachments and it is so heavy that it takes even longer to complete.
Thankfully, I recently had the opportunity to review the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum with OnePass Technology. It has a cyclonic system for long-lasting, powerful suction and an innovative brush design to clean more on the initial pass. The whole concept behind it is simple — clean the carpet faster so that you can spend more time doing the things you love and less time cleaning. And the best part about it is retails for only $79! A vacuum that’s effective and affordable? I couldn’t wait to try it out!
The BISSELL CleanView was was extremely easy to put together. All I had to do was attach the handle to the base with a couple of screws and put the attachments on. It only took me about five minutes to complete.
All finished! The attachments are easy to access on the back of the vacuum.
Before vacuuming with the BISSELL CleanView, I had vacuumed all my floors about a week prior. I wasn’t expecting it to pick up too much, considering we don’t have any pets and we hadn’t been home much that week. Boy, was I surprised! I couldn’t believe how much it picked up just in our living room. I have vacuumed my house from top to bottom with the BISSELL and I am happy to say that it has done an awesome job!
The dirt tank was about half full just after doing my living room and hallway!
What I like about the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum:
I love that it is lightweight. It’s really easy to push, which is a huge improvement from my old vacuum. It honestly cleans so quickly and easily that it doesn’t even feel like I am doing any work. Plus, it is SO quiet!
I also love the Easy Empty dirt tank. It’s so convenient to just empty the tank when I’m done and not have to worry about bags. It’s also a nice visual to see how much dirt the vacuum is picking up.
The attachments are also really nice. The TurboBrush tool has been great for our stairs and furniture. It’s easy to attach and it works really well.
What I Would Change:
The only thing I would change about the vacuum is the cord length. It is 25 feet long, which isn’t quite long enough to reach across my living room. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be nice to not have to unplug the cord halfway through vacuuming.
The Bottom Line:
I am very impressed with the quality of the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum. It is effective, easy to use, and affordable. Even my dad was so impressed with it that he went out and bought one for himself!
Buy It
The BISSELL CleanView Vacuum with OnePass Technology can be purchased from Amazon or Target for $79.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for BISSELL. I received a product sample to help facilitate my review.

I think a 25 ft cord is pretty normal. If it's too long it'll be harder to drag and it'll be more likely to tear off from the vacuum due to the excessive pulling of extra cord ounces. But what do I know? =P
This is a good review. I'm glad there's an efficient vacuum that only costs $79 as opposed to the infamous Dyson prices.

I think 25 ft is normal. I guess it's just wishful thinking on my part... :) And it's not really that big of a deal. The vacuum is great!
