I did a ton of research before buying ours, and found that Baby Mod is made by DaVinci, which is sold at places like Babies R Us for twice as much, and they are the exact same thing! Because they are sold under a different name they can be sold for much less at Walmart.
Also, if you are unsure of what kind of mattress to get (coil or foam), I did a lot of research on that as well, and decided that foam was better (thicker, lighter, and firm, yet comfortable). Foam is usually more expensive, so getting this one for free is even better! We love ours–it’s about an inch thicker than regular coil mattresses, and very comfortable for our girls! They are also VERY light, so changing sheets is a breeze!
