My Walgreens Deals & Freebies for Week of 5/1

I only paid $14.37 (w/o tax) for all this and a 12 oz pack of Dunkin Donuts coffee (not pictured), plus I have $6 in Register Rewards to spend on my next purchase! Retail value would have been $55.93!

I mentioned in a previous post that I was going to attempt to use more coupons to help my family save more money. I am officially addicted! This week I decided to see what kinds of deals and freebies I could score from Walgreens. I have made two trips to two different Walgreens and have done a total of three transactions. Here is a breakdown of my purchases:

Please note: Register Rewards are coupons that print off when you pay that you can use towards your next transaction. They work like cash. Smart Source and Red Plum coupon inserts are found in your newspaper or mail, depending on your location. Prices and totals don’t include tax since it varies across the country.

Total Retail Value for all 3 Transactions: $55.93 (based on reg. price of items)
Total Paid: $14.37
+ $6 Register Rewards to use towards next purchase, so it’s like paying $8.37
Savings: 85%!

I still have (2) $3 off Register Rewards that I can use towards my next purchase. I didn’t use one during Trip #2 because my total was less than the coupon value and I didn’t want to buy any filler items. Keep in mind that Register Rewards don’t cover tax, so your total must be equal to or more than the value of your Register Reward coupon.
I am planning on making another trip to Walgreen’s this week to pick up more Cottonelle, Tylenol Precise, and maybe another Gillette Fusion. If I can snag some more coupons, I will definitely stock up on more Right Guard body wash as well! I love getting items for free!! 🙂
