Have you had your identity stolen? I’m thankful that I never have, nor has anyone close to me. I know it’s completely devastating and can take years to recover. It’s not something you want to happen, or something you expect to happen, but it does. That is why you have to be so careful about the information you provide online and in your daily life.

I don't have personal knowledge of identity theft but it is definitely a concern. I'll have to look into LifeLock. Lots of bad people out there.

My mother-in-law had her bank account hacked into and over $700 withdrawn from her checking account several months ago. She doesn't make anywhere near 100 grand in terms of earnings but she did have a nice savings built up in her account. Thankfully, the bank refunded the money that was taken and now she uses Life Lock. She has peace of mind now when using the internet now and with all of the scammers out there you can never be too cautious!
