It’s not even Thanksgiving yet and I’m already starting to get excited for Christmas. As soon as the weather turns colder, I have a sudden urge to drink peppermint mochas, listen to holiday music, and decorate our Christmas tree. I also get excited to start shopping for presents.
Every year I make a list of what I want to buy for each person in my family, and then I start shopping early to catch the best deals. I try to match sales with any coupons or rebates I find to maximize my savings.
It may seem early, but I plan on starting my shopping this weekend. On Sunday (11/4) Kmart will be hosting a Friends and Family Event. For one day only you can save 10% on everything, including sale and clearance items! Plus, bonus members will get 5% in points on qualifying purchases!
I plan on shopping for toys and home appliances. My twin girls and my son all have birthdays this month, so I’m hoping to find some birthday presents in addition to some Christmas presents. My girls have been asking for babies and princesses and my son wants a couple of new Lego sets, so hopefully I will be able to find some good deals.
