aden + anais – Soft Muslin for Delicate Baby Skin

As a first time mama, I sometimes worry about making mistakes. Of course, I only want the best for Clementine and want to make conscious decisions about what I expose her to. Living in New York City, it is hard to not have her immediately get used to the noise, the dirt, and the rushy lifestyle… So in the areas that I can impact, I want to make the right choices. For example, when it comes to her skin, it is so new and delicate that I only want to swaddle her with soft muslin swaddling blankets.

aden + anais has some beautiful cotton muslin swaddling blankets, which is what they are famous for. But I recently found out that they actually have a lot of other great products too!

For example, aden + anais has hooded towels and wash cloths. Clementine is so small that she takes her baths in the kitchen sink. When I take her out, I immediately swaddle her in a towel to keep her warm. The hooded towels by aden + anais are genius. Not only because they are practical, but because Clementine looks like the cutest little baby in it! Don’t you think?? And they are so soft and come in such beautiful colors!

I also use the aden + anais muslin changing pad covers. Good thing all their fabrics are machine washable because Clementine is so wiggly during her diaper changes that we get dark stains on there frequently. A plus — they get softer with every wash!

We also use aden + anais muslin crib sheets. They are much more breathable than other sheets due to the open weave design that allows for good airflow. My favorite part about them is all of the pretty designs they have! In my photos is the “for the birds – medallions” design. They also have one with little owls on it which I think is even cuter.

As you can see, aden + anais has much more to offer than just their signature swaddles!
