I’m a photographer living in Brooklyn, though my heart sometimes still resides in my hometown – Münster, Germany. I photograph architecture and interiors, but for my food blog, Liz & Jewels, I went out of my typical routine and started photographing food. Since then I have photographed 4 cookbooks, the latest is “Anni kocht für Kinder,” a cookbook for kids.
Besides photography I like trying fun things like silversmithing, upholstery, cooking, baking, woodworking and welding.
On top of figuring out how to live in Brooklyn happily, healthily, and with style, I am taking care of my lovely puppy Lola and my handsome husband Mike. The newest addition to my little family is Clementine, my beautiful daughter.

I am a stay-at-home mom to three crazy girls ages five, two, and 6 months. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for nine years now.
Ever since I became a mom (really since the day we started trying to have a baby), I have been obsessed with baby gear. I love the way it works! I especially love to see when a parent creates an invention out of their own need, but most of all, I love to play with it and see how it will make life easier or more fun for my family.
I love to find a great deal, and sometimes that means finding a great item that needs a little love. I have owned 29 strollers in my five years as a mama, because in my free time I love refurbishing baby gear. I love finding a discarded item that may be dirty or need replacement parts and restoring it back to something any mother would be proud to own!
