As I shopped for school supplies with my kids this past weekend, it dawned on me that my kids aren’t so little anymore. We’ve officially graduated from wide ruled paper to college ruled, spiral notebooks to planners, and wood pencils to fine point pens. At least my girls still want fun pencil bags and crayons!
It seems like just yesterday my son was in elementary school and my twin girls were babies. Now, my son is a senior in high school and my twin girls are in 4th grade. I can’t believe it. Where did the time go?
As much as I didn’t want to shop for school supplies this year — because that would mean another summer had come and gone — I was excited to spend the afternoon with my kids. It was my first time shopping at Office Depot for school supplies and I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of products at low prices.
Knowing that it would be my son’s last year of high school, I wanted to make sure that he was organized and prepared for a successful year. His schedule includes a couple of college classes, so having a planner is a must.
Office Depot has a wide variety of planners, including this awesome TUL® School Edition disc-bound planner that my son picked out. He loves that it is simple, easy to use, and can be customized it to his liking.
The pages can easily be moved around if needed and there is plenty of space each day to write down assignments, etc. It even comes with dividers with pockets and fun stickers.
As an added treat, I let him pick out some really nice TUL® fine point pens and highlighters to use with his planner and school assignments. He is ready to start the year strong!
Shopping for school supplies for kids in high school and elementary school can be a challenge, but it was super easy to find everything we needed at Office Depot. We were able to check everything off of our list — even hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes!
