Slammers Organic Superfood Snack Pouches for Kids {Review & Giveaway}

My kids must be going through a growth spurt because all they want to do is eat! I’m pretty sure they would snack all day if I let them. I usually only allow them to have healthy snacks, such as fresh fruit and veggies or granola bars made with whole grains and no added junk. We are always looking for new snack ideas, so we were excited to discover Slammers, a new snack on the market that is healthy and yummy!

Designed as fuel in organic snack form, Slammers is a fun super-food line made with active kids in mind and sold exclusively in the U.S. These on-the-go pouches are available at Target and Safeway locations in the following four delicious flavors:

EPIC – mangoes, bananas, oranges, carrots, Greek yogurt & real vanilla
AWESOME – bananas, blueberries, strawberries, beets, acai, amaranth (a highly nutritious gluten-free grain)
CHILL’N – bananas, blueberries, butternut squash, Greek yogurt & yumberry
PUMPED – bananas, pineapple, mangos, ancient grains, butternut squash, cinnamon

The kids have always loved snack pouches — they think they are a fun treat — so they were thrilled when our review package of Slammers arrived. They were so excited to try them out to see which flavor was their favorite. They have tried every one and have loved every flavor so much that they told me they can’t pick a favorite. They have been perfect for taking to the park, gym daycare and sporting events. It’s so easy to just throw them in a bag and go!

Besides being yummy and convenient, I really like that the pouches are healthy. They are a great way to sneak in veggies and whole grains and I like that they aren’t just packed full of fruit and sugar. With so many pouches on the market being far from healthy, I am really impressed with Slammers and the ingredients they use.

We will definitely be purchasing Slammers in the future. They kids love them, I love them, and they are great for our on-the-go lifestyle!
