One of my goals this year is to eat more fruits and veggies and less junk food. While I tend to eat healthy most of the time, I struggle with late-night cravings. After the kids are in bed and my hubby and I have settled into our Netflix shows, I tend to reach for a chocolate ice cream bar to satisfy my hunger. I can resist most other sweets, but when it comes to chocolate and ice cream, I have a hard time saying no.
Instead of totally depriving myself, I’ve come up with a solution that I can easily live with {and be happy about!}. I’m allowing myself to indulge and enjoy an ice cream bar a couple of days per week and the other days I am going to 1-up my cup with Yoplait® yogurt.
I’ve always loved yogurt — I enjoy it in my smoothies or right out of the cup for a snack. I especially like Yoplait® Greek yogurt because it is high in protein and only has 100 calories. My new favorite is Yoplait® Greek 100 Whips!. It’s so light and creamy and tastes like dessert, minus all the extra calories. I found so many yummy flavors at Walmart, like Strawberry, Salted Caramel and Cafe Latte!
Yoplait® yogurt is delicious on its own but it’s also super yummy with added toppings. I’m a big fan of mixing fresh strawberries, mini chocolate chips and crushed graham crackers into the strawberry whipped yogurt. It really hits the spot and the best part is I don’t have to feel guilty about eating it!
There are so many great ways you can 1-up your cup with Yoplait®. Simply pick a flavor and add your favorite toppings. Some ideas are granola, sliced almonds, bananas, strawberries, peaches, caramel, chocolate syrup or peanut butter. The possibilities are endless!
