By now y’all should know how much I love coffee. It’s pretty much my favorite thing in the whole world, besides my family of course.
It helps me start my day on the right foot and it gives me the energy to tackle whatever the day throws at me. Plus, it tastes amazing.

Most days I wake up and brew a hot cup of joe, but when the weather turns warmer, there’s nothing I love more than a tall glass of iced coffee. Not only is it refreshing, but it’s also a great pick-me-up any time of the day.
While I almost always make my own coffee at home (it is easier and cheaper after all), I hardly ever make my own iced coffee.
It’s not as easy and it takes more time to make, so I usually buy mine from my local coffee shop. It’s convenient and I like the taste, but it does add up over time.
Being the frugal person that I am, I’ve been trying to find a cheap and easy way to make iced coffee at home. I’ve tried so many different recipes and I’m happy to say that I’ve finally found one that truly is cheap and easy!
A while back I shared all the reasons why instant coffee is awesome and it got me thinking that I should use it to make iced coffee.
After experimenting a little bit, I came up with the perfect recipe using Folgers Instant Coffee. Not only is it so simple, but it’s also affordable and it tastes great!
All you need is Folgers Instant Coffee, cold water, and ice. You can customize it by adding half & half cream, sweetener, flavored syrups such as vanilla, hazelnut, or caramel, and whipped cream.
Simply dissolve the instant coffee in water (this doesn’t take long). Then add ice and whatever else you prefer — cream, sweetener, flavored syrup — and top with whipped cream if you want to get fancy.
In less than one minute, you have the perfect iced coffee customized to your liking!

Instant coffee is a must-have if you want to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee any time of day, no matter where you are.

Hint: Make your ice cubes from leftover coffee instead of water. Frugal, and doesn't dilute your iced coffee.
